About me

Hello! As you browse through my portfolio, I hope you get a sense of who I am both as a person and as an interaction designer. I'm excited to share my journey with you and give you a glimpse of my passions, skills, and experiences. So let's dive in!

I'm Jessica, an Interaction Designer and Computer Scientist originally from Espoo, Finland. I moved to Gothenburg to pursue my master's degree in Interaction Design & Technology at Chalmers University of Technology, and graduated 2024.

As a person, I would describe myself as positive and creative. I'm passionate about combining my IT knowledge with my UI/UX skills to create beautiful, functional, and universal designs. In my previous roles, I've learned how to lead and plan coding projects, manage customers, and handle multiple issues simultaneously.

When I'm not tinkering with technology, you can usually find me reading fantasy/sci-fi books, watching movies, or hanging out with some four-legged friends. In terms of technical skills, I'm proficient in Figma, Java, Power BI and Flutter, among others. Overall, I'm excited to continue growing my skills in interaction design and technology and to bring my perspective and creative ideas to the table.
